AHJ Approval Portal · Permitting Coalition
The AHJ Approval Portal is a shared permitting environment for energy storage projects. Developers submit permit-ready packages; municipal authorities and zoning boards review, comment, and approve — with a clear record on both sides. Join the coalition to get your jurisdiction or your projects online.
Membership
Whether you build storage projects or you review them for a municipality, membership puts you on the same page — literally. Pick the track that fits your role and register in a couple of minutes.
Submit a permit-ready package and track it all the way to approval — no chasing email threads, no lost revisions.
Give your jurisdiction a single, organized queue for storage permits — with everything the reviewer needs attached to each one.
Getting started
Membership takes four short steps. Developers can be submitting the same day; jurisdictions are onboarded with their reviewer accounts and a short walkthrough.
Create your account with your work email, or sign in with your organization's Google account.
Tell us whether you're a developer/EPC or a municipal / zoning board reviewer.
We confirm your organization and jurisdiction so submissions route to the right desk.
Submit or review permits in the shared workspace — everything tracked in one record.
Inside the portal
The portal keeps developers and reviewers working from the same submission, so nothing gets lost between the applicant and the authority having jurisdiction.
